How UltraCrew Works
One shared plan for the runner and the crew — set up before the race, followed live on race day, and worth reviewing after.
Built for the runner and the crew
Everyone works from the same race, but sees it from their own side.
If you're running
You create the race, lay out the aid stations, and invite the people crewing for you. During the race, you can log your own checkpoints, nutrition, and gear — or lean on a crew member with logging permission to do it while you keep moving. Afterward, it's all there to review.
If you're crewing
You accept an invite by email and get assigned a role for that race. If you're given logging permission, you can check the runner in and out at your aid station, log what they ate, note a gear change, or leave a note for the next crew down the course.
From setup to the finish line
Set up the race
Create a race with its date and distance, then lay out every aid station along the course — location, cutoff times, and what's available there. This becomes the shared plan everyone works from.
Build your crew
Invite crew members by email and assign each one a role — crew, pacer, captain, or support. Grant logging permission to the crew members who'll actually be checking you in at aid stations, so they can log on your behalf when your hands are full.
Go live on race day
Once the race starts, check in and out at each aid station, log nutrition and fluids, note gear swaps, and record how you're feeling — mood, pain, anything worth remembering. Crew with logging permission can do all of this for you at the aid station while you keep moving.
Review afterward
After you finish, everything you logged during the race is there to look back on — aid station splits, what fueling worked and what didn't, how your body held up. Export it, compare it against past races, and use it to plan the next one.
Both work, wherever you are
Install the web app or use the native app — pick whichever's in your hand at the aid station.
Web app
Set up races and aid stations, send crew invitations, manage roles and permissions, and review your data afterward. Install it to your phone's home screen and it logs checkpoints, nutrition, and gear on race day too.
Mobile app
The native app for race day — checkpoint check-ins, nutrition and gear logging, right from the aid station or the trail, plus push notifications for race updates.
Aid station coverage is unreliable, so both apps keep working offline — a checkpoint, a nutrition entry, a gear change, or a crew note gets saved the moment you log it and syncs automatically once you're back in range.
Only the crew members you've invited and granted permission to can see or log data for your race — everyone else's races stay private to them.
